Students at Howard D Crull celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with two special guests in attendance, Mr. Alfonso Amos and Mr. Will Bradley. Students in Mrs. Serazin's first grade classroom made a presentation about what makes individuals different, and that those differences should be celebrated. After Mrs. Serazin's first graders shared their presentation, Mr. Amos who works for SONS (Save Our Neighborhoods and Streets) gave an inspirational speech about perseverance and dreaming BIG! Thank you Mr. Amos for your inspirational words! (The attached video cuts out about one minute before the end of the speech due to lack of space, fyi.) |
