Mrs. Ainsworth's third graders learn what happens to materials eroded by water. We added water to sand, clay, soil and pebbles and shook it up to simulate a fast moving river. Once the materials settled we observed the order in which they settled to the bottom if the water.

At the end of April's Poetry month and immersing ourselves into the reading and writing of poetry, Camp Serazin's first graders perform Shel Silverstein's "Sick"! Please plan on stopping by Howard D Crull tonight from 5-7pm for a Title I sponsored Science Night. Cranbrook is bringing loads of hands on experiments for our students and families to participate in. We look forward to seeing you there!
Our Crull class did something exciting; we met up with a 3rd grade class in a different state. We had a little trivia guessing game; we had to try to guess where they were from by them giving us clues, and vice versa. This was an exciting experience with a different class. We had fun doing this activity with these third grade friends, they seemed pretty excited too! We did this little program through the wonderful app, Skype. We learned a lot from where they live and they learned about our state, it was very fun!
